Based in Ghent, Belgium, I split my time between writing and producing in the studio, and building stable live setups for the stage.
Whether working with artists on their records or organizing the MIDI routing and playback systems for a live tour, my focus is simply on making things work well, both creatively and technically.
Music Production
Helping artists with songwriting, arrangements, and finding the right synth sounds in the studio. I also work on new interpretations and remixes of existing tracks.
Live Playback & MIDI Systems
Much like specialized live setups built by companies like MONO in Belgium, I build redundant live playback rigs and MIDI systems. I specialize in routing automation from a DAW straight to physical hardware synths, meaning musicians don't have to play all the synth parts manually on stage. This keeps the performance energetic and technically stable.
Mixing
Mixing tracks to ensure they translate cleanly and have enough punch across different sound systems, from clubs and festival rigs to headphones.
Synth Repair
Repairing, calibrating, and tuning vintage and modern synthesizers through my workshop, Amped Voltz.
Productions & Live Engineering
I combine studio work with technical live setup designs. Inspired by live production setups (like those built by MONO in Belgium), I build reliable playback systems that bridge the gap between software and hardware.

I build and program redundant live setups for touring bands. These systems use backing tracks and synchronized MIDI routing.
Instead of musicians playing every single synth layer manually, the system routes automated MIDI information directly to on-stage hardware synths, lowering technical risks on stage.

A mix needs to feel right, not just clean. I combine analog summing and hardware processing with digital tools to make sure the low-end is clear and the overall sound translates well across various speaker systems.

janus. is the solo electronic alias of Janus Coorevits (Compact Disk Dummies). The project focuses on raw analog textures and industrial sounds. All work is distributed via dot.audio and mastered in Paris by Alex Gopher and Romain.
